So theres a friend of mine that is heavily involved and active in the the whole OWS thing. He posted something on his Facebook that was almost exactly the same as something Tyler Durden said, “what we own ends up owning us.” which got me thinking. The whole OWS thing is just a copy of Fight Club. Instead of starting in a bar basement, it started on an Internet forum. Then it spread thanks to Tyler, who is at the best ill informed and misguided (like most people involved in OWS) and at the worst completely insane. He gathers an army of disenfranchised men and then brainwashes them to do his bidding. It starts off innocent enough, weekend bare knuckle boxing matches but then it becomes bigger and bigger, then more and more violent. Until finally the original purpose and meaning of Fight Club is lost and it has become this giant horrible monster. Seriously replace the words Fight Club and Tyler Durden with OWS and see how many similarities you come across. It’s almost like it was done on purpose.
